    hello

    a gridview displays data rows from an access database

    but the arabic characters were displayed with a wrong encoding and unreadable

    i redownloaded the database to my pc , its stored well and no corruption was there 

    is it a know issu ? and how to solve it?

    Might help,

    1. Try installing Arabic font
    2. Try, UTF-8 for encoding

    if you mean that i should install arabic fonts on my windows , its allready installed

    if you mean to select UTF-8 in browser settings , its allready the default encoding system i use

    Refer, might helpful or ask this person who wrote the blog. I think he is a master in Arabic encoding.
