First you should work out your budget and also what is the purpose of your backup? Is is merely for production backup with 0% data loss, the importance of the data and will it be used for like disaster recovery. I ask this because pending on the nature of your backup it can be really expensive.

Basic backup strategy can be just a daily backup of your application servers to a removable drive or SAN. Database backups can be incremental and the transaction logs backed up also to a removable drive or SAN. The data can then be shipped offsite.

Most likely you'll end up with a combination of what you list as "solutions."  For example, DAS. NAS and SAN are not backup solutions, they are storage solutions.  You won't be able to afford enough tape to handle all your backups and your disk-to-disk will only suffice for short term backup.

Develop a strategy, then figure out what hardware you need.
