The last few weeks, I've been setting up a HMC 4.5 environment. I did everything by the book (Technet Deployment Guide) but ran into a bunch of problems. Most of them have been solved thanks to this excellent forum and some other sources. Still, there are a few issues left.

The one I can't seem to find anywhere is when creating a new sip user with the provisioning ui, it fails. The error is :  "There is no such object on the server".

Very strange, the object is there ofcourse and it already has a mailbox. There is also a SIP domain and an SMTP domain. Can anyone help?

I have this same problem with my HMC 4.5 environment when provisioning a user via the sample UI.

Did anyone find a reason as to why or a solution?

Using  createsipuser.xml works perfectly fine but I would like to get it working via the sample UI if possible.

Appreciate any thoughts.

Did you guys solved this? I'm encountering same issue. Manual provisoning works great. SampleUI nada.

We're trying to get some help from Microsoft on this, but even though my comapany is Super Mega Platinum Partner and whatever, support on HMC is not included.

Furthermore, there's also an issue with creating a SharePoint teamsite via the provisioning UI.

Hi,

Well if you have Pemier Support you are able to get HMC support. OUr company is currently reviewing the con's and pro's of this type of contract.

HMC is end of wave in 2010 so we don't know for sure what to do. 

We have Premier Support, but not for HMC. That's a seperate package.
