I'm using Ajaxtoolkit maskededit extender
On the server if i remove ClearMaskOnLostFocus="false" property,
the textbox removes the 'dot(.)' operator from the text entered. i.e. if i enter V2.00a it becomes V200a as soon as i remove the focus from the textbox TxtVer.
In my local pc everything works fine even without ClearMaskOnLostFocus="false"
this property. i.e. a value entered as V2.00a remains V2.00a even if the focus is removed from the textbox TxtVer.
What might be the problem?
But if i keep On the server ClearMaskOnLostFocus="false" this property,
then user is able to enter __.___ or _2._0a into the textbox TxtVer, how can I get rid of these underscores(_)
Any solution please........

I assume that the different behaviors between your server and local pc are caused by the different Mask and MaskType. Please check the detail property value. If you would like to keep the “dot(.)”, we need to set the MaskType as “none” and set the ClearMaskOnLostFocus
In the other hand, if you would like to change the underlines to other characters, you can set the
PromptChararacter property yourself.
