     if i've a problem, and i want to put it on this forum and try to show my problem by way of an image, how do i do that, i mean , how to put images while posting a question. the insert image button here asks for a URL how to upload image from my machine.

    Answer

    You need to put your image on a public web server.  There are some free image hosting services out there, such as Flickr and Image Shack, but I don't know whether they allow remote linking to images.  Befroe oyu do that, try descibing your problem in words.  Images are unnecessary usually.

    You need to upload your image in a host server first..

    Answer

    take the screenshot of the screen you want to post the image here > go to any site which provide free image hosting like ImageShack® - Hosting or Picasa (http://picasaweb.google.com/home) > upload the image there > get the url of uploaded image > and add the url of the uploaded image in your post with the help of image button you would find in the toolbar here.

    Answer

    Well upload your image on any of the social networking sites or if you have your own webspace and use the URL to upload the image.

    A picture is worth a thousand words!!, i think creators of this application should take up the task of allowing to upload images from local machine.

    I'm sure this was a conscious design decision and will not change.  Unless, of course, you would be willing to pay for the extra gigabytes of server space needed.  Money mouth
