    Hi All,

            I created a website. How to publish it on my local IIS??

    Depends a lot on your web site and how you created it.  Could be as simple as copying it to your web site folder.  Is your local IIS installed, configured for ASP.NET and able to serve the default page?

    open your website in VS

    go to solution Explorer and Right click on website name

    click on publish website

    then select destination

    Press Ok

    now write inetmgr in run

    click on website and add new website and give the website source here

    Enjoy in this way

    jeff,

     can u tell me how to configure asp.net 3.5 for IIS.bcos i have made a website and after successfully publising the website it show some XML parsing location error.

    configuring IIS is so confusing that i m not able to do any thing afterward.


    so pls help me in this regards.
