Hi i would like to ask how can i build a simple one that will run more smoothly then that one since he's emphasising it's just for fun i'm still a beginner to so don't really know what to expect i've done some basic programming in C# but not a whole lot
of experience.

Hi,
Can anyone suggest me, how to incorporate GMail like chat in my existing ASP.Net application.
I want that all my ownline user should able to chat in(1-1) fashion.
Please suggest.

Thanks fo the reply,
Quite a sound example.
But I want to acheive the same look and place as that of Gmail Inline chat
1.On Left side, i want to show the list of logged in users
2.On click of any of the online user,small popup(like in Gmail should), where user should be able to send message
Can you please guide me in that direction.

First build a chat application
Then looks is just CSS and HTML DIV which will make it look like GMAIL

I downloaded the code, but it is using whole LINQ concept, and I don't know much about that and the another thing, the example is saying about Room.
I don't want that.
I want a functionality where one user can chat with another online user, without LINQ
I will be very gratefull if you suggest something
