Hi All, I have installed VS.NET 2008 IDE. I have installed silverlight_chainer.exe for making use the silver light application in the VS.NET 2008 IDE itself. I have succeeded in these two steps. But, I face little problem while running the created application. The applications asks for silverlight component to be installed every time. I installed the silverlight 2.0 component in my system. I need your help to solve the problem and execute the created application directly from the VS.NET 2008 IDE itself. Thanks in advance for your help.

make sure you install visual studio 2008 sp1

what version of silverlight do you have on your computer

you can check this on control panel-programs-program and features

if you have version 2.0.31005.0 you will need to upgrade

install upgraded developer runtime from here

    http://silverlight.net/GetStarted/

If you have a previous version you must unistall silverlight.....

I was on vacation and I just saw your post....hopefully you have solved this problem
