  package 'Visual Web Developer HTML Source Editor Package' has failed to load

  Hi All

   I am using VS 2008 Team Edition with SP1 installed. All was fine till yesterday when i started receiving the error 'package 'Visual Web Developer HTML SourceEditor Package' has failed to load properly (GUID={xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx}}' . I am able to build the project and can do work in cs files but no support for the design view. Reinstall is not fixing this, Please HELP

   Hi!
  

  Try to do this: 

  Enter VS2008, click on Tools/Options

  Check "Show all settings" option
  

  Choose Environment/International Settings

  Change the language combo box.

  Close VS2008.
  

  run devenv /resetskippkgs

  Fine! It worked for me. Only for those who have encountered this same problem, it happened to me after installing "Visual Studio Team System 2008 TFS Power Tools - October 2008 Release" over a Visual Studio 2008 SP1.

  I have a German Windows 7 and an English Visual Studio. After installing ASP.MVC RC I had the problem described above.
  Setting the language fixed the problem. Thanks a lot.

  Thanks a lot!. I've got the same problem and tried diffrent alternatives, but only this worked for me.

  In my case, the problem appeared after I've installed the Visual Studio 2008 SDK.
