I started this project a while back and did not get anywhere; 1and1.com is not very helpful. I am trying to setup the Personal website but it requires 2 databases and if at all possible I would like to use only one, specially with the economy the way it
is.
I am new at this and have read some of the posts but do not have a clear picture of what to do. I am using the 2008 version of Visual studio web express and the mysql that comes comes with it.
Is there anywhere that walks you through the database setup to the webserver?

Hi,
I advice you to take a look at this article on how to place the membership tables etc and your own database in one and the same: Create Membership tables in another database than the standard aspnetdb.mdf.
Also take a look at this article: Recipe: Deploying a SQL Database to a Remote Hosting Environment (Part 1).
