Hi, i'm reposting because i didn't really have much information in my last post. However, i'm starting to see more.
Firstly, this is about a problem with Forum posts and The Beer House Starterkit. I'd like to start off by saying how brilliant it is.
Anyway, posting a topic on the forum works ok and replies can be posted back and everything. However, when i (the admin) wishes to edit a post it dosn't update straight away. I just tested and it took about 15 mintues to update. If i delete a post, it again
- happens immediatly, so why dosn't the post edit update immediatly?
I've also run one version (not quite the same) on my local machine and that will edit posts immediatly. I've tried copying over (from the local to my site) almost everything except the database, masterpage and other pages with META tags such as the Default,
contact and about page. This weird problem just keeps happening.
Two of my users seem to think they cannot post too. This is strange because i can post, other users can and i've tried posting on my friends computer and even logged in as the user and posted myself. I need to check if they are posting properly so this should
not be an issue. But just incase i thought it might be best to post the information.
I hope someone can help, sorry for the long post. Thanks.

I have also jsut discovered another problem. If there are 3 posts in a topic and say i wanted to delete the second post due to offensive language. When i click delete, it deletes post 3. I'm really lost here [:S]

Ok, i'm starting to believe this is a problem only i have. Could this be due to cacheing or cookies?
Every site that uses the beer house i have been on, i have the same problem. I post, try to edit and it updates around 10 minutes later.

I'm just not going to use the beer house starter kit for the moment. I mean, it's great - but i'm probably going to go with something like DotNetNuke.
