Under my avatar/name it shows 3 posts. When I click on that I get back zero search results. Furthermore if I search with phrase 'request.files.count' (my post should come up) I get no results.
There's a great deal of content here that needs to get indexed so new posts will not appear in the site search result right away. The indexer will get to them eventually though.
Since Google and Live are in the search business, they don't wait to find new content. They will generally notice new posts here very quickly. To use one of those search engines to search for your posts here, you can put this into their search textbox:
Thanks for your reply. Although I think there is more to this issue and/or another explanation:
First off my posts were made 3-4 days ago. I can't imagine the internal indexing of this site takes that long to index new posts....
Next, when I click on the postcount under my name, the search result page (searching based on user id, should not require any indexing) says no results. However when I click your postcount, I see all your posts including your reply to this thread already.
Unless the indexer prioritizes moderator replies, how would your reply show up while my original thread doesn't?
Although I think there is more to this issue and/or another explanation
Based on your observations, I'm inclined to agree. I don't usually click on my own post-count so I'm surprised to see this thread showing up for me but not showing up when viewing your posts. I do not think any prioritization exists for moderator replies.
Maybe it is somehow related to your account being a new account. Generally, when i have noticed that a member has posts that do not show up when clicking on their post count, they are relatively new members.
