If you've been following the recent threads in this feedback forum, then you're already aware that the site emails have been a bit backed up since the beginning of this week. The email process is up and running but still has a ways to go to catch up on
the backlog. While most of the time, a slight delay in receiving an email is not a large inconvenience, It would be a bit of a problem if you were having trouble accessing the site and the email you were waiting for was a password reset email.
So if you find yourself in need of a password reset...
Instead of using the standard password reset feature found on the login form, please submit any password reset requests through the sites feedback form. You can access that form here:
http://www.asp.net/feedback/. Be sure to indicate your account name and to use the email address that is associated with the account you need reset.
The weekend is quickly approaching and has often been a slightly quieter time for the site. This should give the mail service enough time to get itself fully caught up.
