The Personal.mdf will not work in Visual Studio 2008.

And it also gives an error because there is no log file with the mdf database.

Hi I am having the same problem. I have downloaded the files and now get the following error: The configured Role Provider (WindowsTokenRoleProvider) relies upon Windows authentication to determine the groups that the user is allowed to be a member of. ASP.NET Role Manager cannot be used to manage Windows users and groups. Please use the SQLRoleProvider if you would like to support custom user/role assignment. Any pointers to solve this please. Thanks Ian
