I understand you guys want to put stuff in the right place but sometimes I have to wait hours before my post appears. There should be (if there isn't already) some kind of logic that says "Oh this user is a long time member, no need to moderate."
yes it is. I noticed that I couldn't moderate today because the available tools for us weren't working for me as I would expect. I received quite a lot Page cannot be displayed messages.

Yes there's such a system. It has nothing to do with being a long time member but rather with facts like: is this user always posting in the correct forums and is he more helping out other members, ... In those cases a member becomes unmoderated. There are
already several posts on this particular topic.
For me the important part is posting in the correct forum. For a moderator it only takes a click on a button to approve a post. When we see that it needs to be moved we have to click a button that opens another page. Then navigate to a forum where it's better
suited, then approve it again which takes quite some time since the process isn't ajaxised.

I'm at the contributor level and I still have to wait... I'm hoping when/if I ever make it to Star that that goes away.
