We're using SSRS 2005. When I add Point Labels to 3D Column Charts, the value is displayed at the 'end' of the column for each given data point. And, of course, I can move that label to one of nine different positions in and around that end point. However,
when I use a 3D Bar Chart, the point label positions are based on the center of each given bar data point. So instead of having the point label of 20, for instance, displaying at the '20' area on the chart, it is displayed in the middle of the bar (at 10
in this case). And the positioning options will not affect this location.
This is not true for 2D Bar Charts - for these, the labels are displayed at the end of the bar (which is what I would like for 3D).
Has anyone run across this? Is there any way to get the point label to display at the end of the bar for 3D Bar Charts?
(I believe SSRS 2008, with most of the Dundas controls incorporated, fixes this. But we won't be upgrading in the near future, so I'm hoping for a short term fix if possible.)
Thanks in advance.

I think it’s not supported in 2D Bar Chart.
However, we can set the Horizontal rotation, Perspective, Wall thickness and Vertical rotation to 0, and then the 3D Bar Chart will look as a 2D Bar Chart.

Hello Jian Kang,
Thanks for your response. I may not have explained the problem very well. The point labels appear as I would like them in the 2D Bar chart - they appear at the end of each bar. However, when I make that Bar chart 3D, the point labels move to the midpoint
of the bar. I'd like to use a 3D Bar chart, but I want the point labels to remain at the end of each bar, not in the middle.
