I would like to know how can I make my website compatible for both 800 x 600 and 1024 x 768 resolutions. Please let me know how it is possible....

 I am new to this field, I am not good in scripting. But, I found that we can create 2 CSS one for 800 x 600 and the other one for 1024 x 768 and use javascript. Is it what you are telling??

 That might work, but that will make dependant on javascript being enabled on the client browser.

You can try to use a flow layout, which will make your website look good on almost all resolutions.

ps. there's not only 800x600 or 1024x768 screen resolutions that people might have ;)
