RADactive I-Load is an ASP.NET web control (1.1, 2.0 and 3.5 compatible) which basically:
Allows the final user to upload, crop, resize and rotate/flip images which must respect all the constraints of width, height, aspect ratio, file size and format that you need.
Can automatically generate thumbnails (sometimes many) from the original uploaded image to serve various needs (preview, zoom, icons, etc).
I-Load is cross-browser and does not require any client side software download !
NEWS
I-Load 2008.R2 has been released on Nov. 17.
The new component version introduces the following new features:
Compliance with the XHTML 1.1 specifications
The I-Load user interface has been completely rewritten to be fully compliant with XHTML 1.1 specifications.
Customizable pop-up window mode
The new version of I-Load allows to customize how the pop-up windows are displayed.
If you want, you can stop using the default browser pop-ups and use modern lightbox modal windows.
You can write your own code to display the I-Load UI - or - you can use your favorite third party javascript library.
Image reprocessing
The new version of the component allows to reprocess images (previously uploaded with I-Load) maintaining unchanged the selected parameters (crop/resize/rotate-flip).
This is useful if you need to add a new watermark to your images (or update an existing one), of if you want to add a new thumbnail size.
Multiple image upload
The I-Load examples contain a ready to use ASCX User Control that allows to manage multiple image uploads.
The ASCX user control uses the Adobe Flash Player plug-in (version 8 or higher) to manage file uploads. No heavy Java applet is necessary!
Moreover, the ASCX user control includes his source code and can be fully customized to fit your needs.
Based on their website, the project is closed now. They suggest that you try to use a different free solution http://piczard.com. Also, They have
forums there to discuss anything related to their solution.

This control is great! I use it in almost every one of my projects.
Clients love the easy way they can format images they upload such as property images, staff profile pictures, cars, the lists is almost endless.
