Hi,
I've played around with the Club Starter Kit and then upgraded to Visual 2008 Express, and SQL Express 2008. Now nothing works. Do the starter kits not work with these upgrades?

It works fine for me. However, I did *not* let VWD update my site to ASP.NET 3.5.

Agreed - Do not upgrade the starter kit to .net 3.5 or the club starterkit will not work.

It is possible to upgrade the club starter kit to 3.5, although not without a lot of fixing. See here:
