12000pcas01 (otherwise known as excas01)
12000voab01 (otherwise known as excasoab01)
should pcas01 have OAB? or should I remove it from that server?
Doesn't matter.
Enable verbose tracing in Exchange 2007 provider: find file Echange2007Provider.dll.config and change LogLevel to "5" - <add key="LogLevel" value="5" />.
Re-start Provisioning Engine COM app and re-run you request. Check Application Log to see what exactly Exchange 2007 Provider gets as outpoot from Get-OabVirtualDirectory. If you see sometning like this:
Marlin, What did u do to reslove the issue in the first post in this thread? Getting the same error and have changed the internal URL with no luck. When I do a Get-OabVirtualDirectory I do receive a valid response.

<response>
<errorContext description="The server '12000voab01' is not configured with a d
istribution point."
code="0x80004005"
executeSeqNo="111">
<errorSource namespace="Error Provider"

<errorSource namespace="Managed Email 2007"

when running provtest AddOABCAS.xml I am recieving the above message.
I have changed the internal url to something non-existant like the documentation states and still am unable to proceed.
Any help or suggestions would be appriciated.

then user, who run request, can read VDir config info from AD.

AddOABServer is about public folder-based OAB servers. Your '12000voab01' is not mailbox server, isn't?

ah....my screw up...
12000voab01 is not a MBX server or a PF server...I was putting in the wrong server...it should be 12000vpob01 (where the public folders are stored)
I sincerely thank you for your help...its gotten me past this road block.
Thanks,

Michael,
I was actually putting in the wrong server....so we changed the oab internal directory location to something different on all CAS servers.
It was actually our Public Folder server that should be used to set the oab virtual directory.
Hope this helps....let me know if I can be of more assistance....also my email is mtodd (at) theplanet.com

I am running into the same issue I get the error.
<response>
<errorContext description="The server 'EXCASOAB1' is not configured with a distribution point." code="0x80004005" executeSeqNo="93">
<errorSource namespace="Error Provider"
procedure="SetError"/>
<errorSource namespace="Managed Email 2007"
procedure="AddOABCAS"/>
</errorContext>
</response>
- Here is the result of "Get-OabVirtualDirectory"
Server Name Internal Url External Url
------ ---- ------------ ------------
EXCAS01 OAB (Default Web... http://excas01.f...
EXCASOAB1 OAB (Default Web... http://excas01.f...
I did increase the verbose logging and i see the account can read the info correctly from AD
