This is probably not a beerhouse issue but when I design a new newsletter (using the VB version and ASP.2.0) all works fine until I use an image as part of this. Upload using FCKEditor works fine, Newsletter archive includes all images but the email sent
to customers just contains text and empty image placeholders. No error messages coming up with email client, no pop ups blocked and i've even allowed my site to send anything it wants to my email account. Still developing my site using the book and modifying
to suit with test data. Tried with 6kb image so no problem with file size just stumped! Any one with any more ideas/information?? Perhaps a setting somewhere to allow non text media out of beerhouse - although i have found no reference to it in the 2006 asp.net2.0
May thanks if you have a suggestion.

Since sending images in emails is tricky depending on the recipient's email client or host, it is best to add images as <img> HTML elements linked to static URL's on your website. That way, the email client renders the email as HTML and displays the image
from the URL and not as an attached file.

As I recall, FCKEditor uses relative URLs to refer to images. You would need to change these to absolute URLs before sending; otherwise, your email client won't be able to locate them.
