I may or may not of had to do this, but I installed FPSE 2002 on my Web Server. When I would click on the "Server Extensions" on the Default Site, it would say that "The server is running an out of date verison of FPSE" or something like that.
Anyway, to the best of my knowledge, I configured configured the FPSE for 2002. Now, I am not getting the error that FPSE is not installed, I am getting an the error "FPSE could not access the frontpg.lck" when I attempt to create a new Website via HTTP or when I try to publish the Website.
For now, I am just creating a new Website through File System and the files are being physically stored on the Web Server. Yes, not the best way to do it, but this really is just trying to learn more about ASP.Net. I would appreciate some more insight as I would like to do it the way everyone here does it, but right now the Web Server is not configured correctly.
