    Hi

I am looking to introduce a forum to my site.  It should preferably meet all these conditions:

    1.  It should use the ASP.NET membership that I have
    2.  It should be free
    3.  It should run as files installed in a folder at webroot (not on webroot itself).
    4.  I should be able to change the layout, logos, header, footer, etc to match my existing site without restriction.

Do you know of such a download?

     Thanks

YAF has a name in the tradition of certain Unix utilities (cf YAK)! It has an impressive feature set. The IP banning option sounds very useful.

    Good spotting Anas!

Thanks very much!  YAF looks very nice.  I got it installed standalone and it appeals to me very much.

Anas, do you know whether they allow us to change their footer?  I don't mind giving them credit, but would like to have my own footer and carry their link elsewhere, prominently.  It also speaks about a new version being able to integrate the login to existing ASP.NET membership, but I didn't find the solution to that as yet.  Does anyone happen to have any information on this?

Thanks again guys, this sounds very good.

Wouldn't this be a question best answered in the YAF support forums?

Thanks for all your pointers.  I have decided to go with jumpyforum -- it is a simple design and fairly straightforward to integrate and enhance.

    With Best Regards
