what is the difference between these databases

    when i create a new database in asp.net itself,,,the database was created with an extension of DBO instead of MDF

    So  what is the difference between these 2 database as their extension suggests?

     dbo is for database owner

    Are u saying your file is created like dbname.dbo instead of dbname.mdf ?

     yeah exactly..so are they just the same database ,serving the same purpose or there are notable differences between them..  gotta confused by those databases extensions
