  What is the advantage of displaying the Crystal report in the form of PDF in ASP.Net web page with out using the Crystal report viewer control?

What I see as an advantage is that if you display the report as PDF, you do not have to make an extra postback and thip to the database to print the report, display another page. On the other hand you lose the option to export the report to other formats and also you would lose some other interactivity capabilities like drill-downs (not that I would ever use those anyways).
