so when I launch vwde it starts fine and I can edit any site ive already created. But for some reason when I go to create a new site the window opens to select the type of document I want to create but everything is grayed out and there are no selections. Is there something im doing wrong or is this a real problem? TIA

Can you post screenshot?

This is not a normal behavior of VWD and that never happends to me.

My suggestion is please try to restart the IDE. If this still happen, try to restart your computer. If still happen, try to repair the installation. If still happen again back to this thread :)

 Restarting didnt help I had this happen to me before and I reinstalled but I dont want to have to do this every few days it is fully registered. Thanks again all
 

1. Click on Start -> Run...
2. Put %comspec% /k ""C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VC\vcvarsall.bat"" x86 in the field and press Enter (if you installed VWD somewhere else, adjust your folder path)
3. In new command prompt window, put this: devenv/installvstemplates and press Enter

that makes sense because there are no templates I did a repair and it is good now. I will have to remember to try this next time. Any thoughts as to why this is happening?
