Hi,
I bought this wrox book:Professional ASP.NET 3.5 in C# and VB
by Evjen, Hanselman and Rader because it was recommended by Scott Guthrie and because I thought a 1600 page book would be very complete and deep.
I wanted to upgrade my knowledge to the 3.5 framework and I wanted to focus
on new stuff like LINQ and WCF.When I got this book, I started reading
the chapter about WCF. Unfortunately, it's kind of supperficial.
Hi, I'm Scott Hanselman, one of the authors. Ultimately this is a book on ASP.NET 3.5, not WCF, or WPF, or WinForms. Consequently, given the size of the book, there isn't room to cover WCF (a non-ASP.NET technology) to the depth that you perhaps would have
liked.

Now that I have the book on my desk at work, I'm finding it very useful because, even though the WCF chapter
disappointed
me a little bit, the rest of the book it's great and there is a chapter for anything I need. Sorry about my previous post. This is truly a great book.
No worries, I totally understand why you'd be disappointed by the WCF chapter. We're always trying to find balance without making the book 3000 pages. Sometimes we succeed, sometimes we don't.
