Greetings,

Dumb question: how to search only this (MVC) forum?  The search box at the top of the page appears to search all ASP.NET forums.

You can use the Advanced Search to search only a specific forum. You can get to this search by clicking the "Advanced Search" link on the "Shortcuts" dialog when viewing the main forum page, or by doing a search with  the box up at the top with nothing in the text box.

May I comment that this is the "single" site in the world where we cannot search the current forum?

I've joined this great forum around 2006, and there was such a feature that time, but removed, why?!

Now the only way to search the current forum:

- go to advanced search

- uncheck all in the tree

- figure out where is the forum in the tree (the biggest pain)

- search 

Don't expect from the regular users to go through this way, instead they will post a new questions again and again, which are answered several time.
