i was working in the VWD regularly untill one time it started making problems and it showed me the error that it cannot find the localhost so i tried to solve it by: C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\aspnet_regiis -i   and the message was gone.. but the problem wasnt solved because then i couldnt open the website niether by View In Browser nor by Debugging and everytime i try to do that it took alot of time to open and then appeared the page "Internet Explorer Cannot Display This Webpage".. i tryied reinstalling the IIS in my computer and reinstalling the VWD but it didnt work.. so please help me.

PS. i dont know if this has any connection but i think since i connected this computer to a home network between two computers it all started not working.

What is your website type, File-Based or IIS-Based? If it is File-Based, it doesn't need IIS support.

What antivirus software are you using? Some Antivirus Softwares or Firewalls contain Web Access Protection which disables the dynamic port of ASP.NET Development Server or IIS.

no it is IIS Based so i need the IIS support.

I use NOD32 as the antivirus.. it may be the problem but how can i remove this protection from the firewall or the anitvirus?
