I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve, so here's my best shot. Dynamic Data was designed mainly to work on top of ORM technologies such as LINQ to SQL or Entity Framework and these are currently the only 2 supported data layers. However, we are looking
into enabling custom data providers that Dynamic Data could work on top of but it is unclear at this point if this feature will make it into the official release of Dynamic Data.

How would one interlace a bit of WCF into the stack using DD?
or does this rely soley on LINQ?
