I'm Having what I hope to be the last problem with my MPS 4.0 Install. HMC with Exchange 2007.
After a bit of trouble getting the MPS application server running and creating correctly the accounts on AD. and mailboxes. I'm receiving error:
550 5.1.1 RESOLVER.ADR.RecipNotFound
This happens when sending messages from outside to internal accounts. if Sending from inside to outside messages are going but identification of the sender apears:
I've checked permissions on send and receive connectors, all the tests on
test-systemhealth goes fine. dcdiag as well as
netdiag, test-services.
In my lab scenario I have exchange server running AD, GC as well as Mailbox, Hub Transport and CAS. Heard about a solution moving the Hub Transport Role to another server... Is
this the only solution? Would very much appreciate some ideias on how to diagnose this error.
Just adding some info. I was following a tip from Dmitri posted somewhere else mentioning permissions for the account causing this. I've checked that if I go to security settings for the account just created with the MPS sample interface.
the ACL has many more ACE's than the default. going to advanced on the security tab and redefining it to the default resolves the issue.
Question would be now Why isn't it set correctly by default, it probably got the permissions from the parent OU. Wold anybody be able to tell me how to check the default permissions for the child organizations and child objects.
I'm having a similar problem but with outgoing messages. A new issue just arose - when I reply or send to a gmail account, get
"#550 5.1.1 RESOLVER.ADR.RecipNotFound; not found ##"
I have Outlook 2007 on Vista operating system. What should I do? Saw various strings related to internal/external mail accounts.
I'm a single user and self-employed. No tech support so am troubleshooting on my own. Any specifics would be appreciated!!! Many of my clients have gmail accounts.

This usually happens when the accout is created by the legacy tools i.e. created in Exchnge 2003 for a mailboc on an Exchange 2007 server.
