I downloaded the starter kit and copied the folder called 'BeerHouse' with a subfolder of C:\Mydocuments. Then I loaded the project in VS 2005. Then when I run it by pressing F5 I get the error
" Error 1 It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS. C:\Documents and Settings\subhranil\My
Documents\Visual Studio 2005\WebSites\TheBeerHouse\TBH_Web\web.config "
As said in the error message it could be because the site is not configured as an IIS application. So I created a new IIS website i.e local HTTP and then copied the files into the new IIS website. Then I set one of the files as start page and try to access
through the IE. But the page is not displayed even though IIS is working perfectly.
What could be the problem? Neither it is running as a file system website nor as as an IIS website.
Your help will be highly appreciated.
