hi

i hv a webpage which has Slideshowextender.

the page is working fine in develpment enviornment, (VS 2005)

but when i host it in IIS 6 (Windwos 2003 server), it gives an error saying that webmethod is unknown.

hi bhashitha, can you please put some code so that will give some idea.

Also do you mean that its working fine on file system n you put same code on iis and its not working please expain the scenario

i used the sample code which is available in the sampleWebsite in ajax extention toolkit.

i hv changed only the image urls.

the scenario is as follows.

i am developing a website which use AJax and some other ajax extention tools such as updatepanelanimator etc...

and i hv tested it with the VS2005 itself.

then I put all the pages  to IIS for testing purposes. (actually i hv put the whole website)

but unfortunately its giving an error saying that the webservice (Which use the Slideshow control) is unknow.

any idea?? 

Are the AJAX Extensions loaded on the server?

finaly its working now .

i used the same page which is available in the sample website and changed it to suite my template(Master page).

now its working...
