So I've been with ReliableSite.Net for a little over 1 year now (1 yr 4 months to be exact). I definately have to say the experience was excellent for the most part. Support has always been responsive and the servers are just phenominal, all my sites load really quickly. The only time I've ever had an issue with them was during the datacenter migration, support response was a bit slow, but everything is back to how it used to be and I couldn't be happier.

I just recently migrated over to the new Windows Server 2008 hosting they offer and have to say there were a few quirky things with the new control panel (DotNetPanel), but support has gotten back to me within minutes! to get everything working correctly. If anyone is looking for a new host I highly recommend http://www.reliablesite.net, especially with the IIS 7 hosting at $6/mo it's just unbeatable. I also know there are plenty of other users here that use them (Richard and Tom I think from who I've seen posting lately).

Hosted with ReliableSite.Net and happy. Now using Windows Server 2008 + IIS 7 :-)

Why send a private message let us know too which sites you are hosting with them.

Absolutely! It is very suspicious to have him recommending reliablesite. He hasn't and doesn't know to talk anything other than it. May be he has been hired by Radic and reliablesite for marketing purpose and it is really poor strategy.

On other note, browsing through reliablesite forums, I found Shocking reality about their server setup. They have web server, mysql database server and ms sql database server setup on the same box for their shared hosting plans (Check out in the Pre-sales category at http://forum.reliablesite.net/). This is very much different than what other providers are having and is completely unreliable and utterly poor setup. Now it comes as no surprise to me that they need to hire someone who has to do such marketing without providing his domain name in public Ick!

I have just looked on http://www.webhostingtalk.com/search.php for reliablesite and saw comment on 15/March/2008 like

" Why don't they put their contact address, phone numbers etc. in their website.
Reliablesite.Net does not offer phone support, which is why they don't publish a..." at http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=678815&highlight=reliablesite

#1 - I manage a site for an organization, and I won't post it without their permission.

#2 - How do you label something as "unreliable" when you have absolutely no experience with them? The site always loads quick, and in the past year we've had 99.994% uptime....tracked by a 3rd party service. How many hosts can you say that have that much uptime?

Well I am qualified to say that the support at reliablesite.net is atrocious, I'm going on 72 hours waiting for some assistance getting a CSR generated and adding 2 dedicated IP's to my accounts so I can get 2 ssl certs installed... nothing

There is no ability to generate the CSR's through their control panel, no ability to add-on dedicated IP's, they don't give you the connection info for the MS SQL DB in the opening account info, its available in the control panel but they do a great job of hiding it in the most unexpected of places.  There are numerous broken applications in the control panel that I brought to their attention >1 week ago, their response?..."dotnetpanel has only recently been installed, we are aware of the issues and are techs are working on it"...like I said this was >1 week ago and I guess the techs still haven't figured out the issue.

if you want evidence of reliable sites response time see this forum post:

    http://forum.reliablesite.net/index.php?topic=235.0

search through the pre-sales forum and any forum where they allow people to post with out restrictions, there are multiple people complaining about lack of support for months, the company always has an excuse for why its temporary, I did read this prior to signing up too.  Shame on me for being seduced by the great technology offerings at the rock bottom prices...

There e-mail support is sporadic at best, if you get responses from them in seconds they must like you more than they like me...

I'll buy a six pack for the first person that can get through to them their chat support

http://www.reliablesite.net/v3/support.asp I think its really weak and unethical to offer chat support on your support page so that people signing up for the service think you offer chat support but never actually pay a support personnel to work with your clients in need (basically false advertising)

best analogy I can think of:

Reliablesite.net is like dating a perfect 10 that won't let you kiss her, really attractive at first but the frusturation builds up so quickly it gets to the point where you don't even want to deal with her anymore

RS not brilliant. Sometimes unprofessional and starnge.
But it works and allowed some things other hosts does not.

If an unprofessional host allows some things other hosts do not - it is a BIG security RISK.

Unprofessional host is like an unprofessional plane pilot. Will you fly with this pilot if it is cheap? Yes, this is a strange pilot that allows his passengers to play football inside the plane, use mobile phones, smoke in the toilet, cook barbecue in business class part... But it is cheap... Oh my ...! And sometimes he drinks some vodka with valued customers during the flight.

Well said. Funny how its usually the cheapskate clients who you find in the forums complaining about XYZ which they could have avoided by actually paying for the service.
