Any idea when blinq will support VS 2008 RTM?  I tried it today and I get the following error message when I try to run blinq.exe:

Error: May Linq CTP is not installed or configured correctly. You can download it from http://msdn.microsoft.com/data/ref/linq/ If you are running Blinq from a command window, close it and open a new one after installing the Linq Preview.

Or is there a way to work around this?

Blinq works on top of Visual Studio 2008 RTM. You can get the preview release and try it out at http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/dynamicdata/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=954. If you encounter any issue, please report it at http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/dynamicdata/WorkItem/List.aspx.

Thats a different Blinq (they re-used the name). BUT it basically does what the old Blinq did (allow you to create a dynamic website) so who cares :)

    SilverlightDesktop.net

A framework that allows you to dynamically load Silverlight modules into resizable draggable windows.

That site refers to something called 'Dynamic Data' and doesnt mention blinq...

I am intrigued about this thing, released in beta for for VS 2005 and never made it to production status, and now released again 3 years later in a different form (but still not a production release) for VS 2008.

Do MS intend to ever finish offf this product (with a proper installer for example) and release it or what ?
