I have had servers go offline before, but never seen the companies own site and mail servers down too.  Getting a bit concerned.  Does anyone have any info about this? 

Same here.  I've been hitting redial on the phone for the last 30 minutes, always a buzzy signal.

Don't know what to do. 

 When I try to run a tracert to webhost4life, I get a unable to resolve target system name error.  I don't know if this means they are just having DNS problems or if it's something else.  Does anyone know?  I emailed a few other webhost4life clients who use this forum and one of them responded saying he can access his sites without a problem.  So I don't know where the problem lies.

My site JUST came back online.  Try again. 

 Yeah, my sites are back up too.  Their own site and help desk are still down though.

I use WebHost4Life for my hosting and my website seems to be working, but THEIRS is not! I can't get to their homepage or their login .com/login.asp. This is really frustrating me.

 What numbers do you guys have for their offices, support and main office?

Last time I had an issue and had to move hosts, I moved to discountasp. It's $10 a month and over time I have found that the support team alone is well worth the $10.

 
I looked at going on my own but the time investment on maintaining everything just didn't make sense, was easier to find a good and reliable shared hosting company. 

 $10 a month won't buy you a lick of paint or a database so beware. Check out the WHT offers page for Windows providers:

Yeah, that's what happened, I paid $10 for WH4L. I guess it was too good to be true!

the only reason I went with them was they support multiple domains to different virtual servers... so I can run various applications on the same site... yes they do charge for extra databases, so I guess for each app I need a new database... well, WTF... what do you expect.. if you've got a real site, why don't you shell out [insert $ here] per month for a dedicated server and run with the big boys... otherwise, for the price, and for what you get, you can't beat it..

$35 for a dedicated server? Try more toward $100 for something decent.
