Using 2.0 and C#
In order to speed up the page, the dataset for a gridview only gets 25 records at a time.
There may be literally thousands.
The total number of records is also brought back then just the 25.
Page size is set at 25.
So, is there a way to tell the grid to show in the pager the links (1, 2, 3, etc) for each page even though 25 was brought back?
That way, even though page 2 is empty in the current dataset, when the user clicks on it, the next 25 are brought back by the stored procedure.
The sp is already set up for this.

After I posted it, I did a little searching and came across this:
After a bit of hacking away to get it the way I needed it, got it working.
I just wish they left the VirtualItemCount in the gridview like in the datagrid.
