It looks like to me that the page on code2code hasn't been updated since January 2007, so I wonder if it is still an active project. We are currently using MySql, but are strongly considering a move to Microsoft SQL Server due to the incredible speed improvements
that LINQ offers for development. It looks like it will also considerably enhance the maintainability of the code as well. I'm maintaining some code written with a classic DAL with data adapters and so forth and it is really a nightmare to make changes in
it.
MySql just doesn't support the Microsoft development environment very quickly. It's been years since .Net 2.0 came out with the membership system and there is just now a membership provider coming into a beta version of the .Net connector. I don't even
think it includes a profile provider. It looks like to me that it is significantly more complex to write LINQ providers than membership providers. I suspect it will be a considerable time before these are available for MySql.

LightSpeed supports LINQ to MySQL (http://www.mindscape.co.nz/products/lightspeed/) as well as many other databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SQLite, VistaDB, Oracle etc).
Hope that helps,

Hi, Yes, you can.
Use LINQ for NHibernate.
http://www.ayende.com/Blog/archive/2007/03/16/Linq-for-NHibernate.aspx
If you want to set up a Multi-Tier infrastructure, InterLINQ could probably be a solution for you.

Also, see this project:

I hope this would be helpful.
