I was hoping that a potential employer would see this as being a subject matter expert with a real interest in the technology. Remind me not to apply where you guys work!
Some do, some dont. No easy way to find out beforehand though.

Before this thread got waaaaayy off track, the question was whether there is something wrong with the Top Answerers :)
Mike Banavige is correct, it is the last running 365 days. Mike's assumption about the background task that calculates that "stalling" is probably correct as well. As you'd guess, counting up the number of posts that have been answered in each forum for
each member and aggregating those through each section and through the entire forums is a bit of a heavy-duty query that can fail to finish sometimes depending on the system load at the time.
However, as I check the Top Answerers now I see that johram is indeed showing up at #46 with 204 answers within the last 365 days.
Thanks for the support all and please keep letting us know when you see anything amiss like this.
I dont think our job is to convince our employers that we are participating on these forums on our spare time as a matter of fact he/she is free to believe it or not and as long as we are finishing our tasks on due time then i dont see it as a crime.
Concerning the nerds thing, (i really hate this word) however if you insist of using it, being a nerd is wayyyy better of being stupid.... so my opinion is to keep helping other developers to use microsoft's technologies.
