     Hi,

I was wondering if it would be possible to get a new forum in the Starter Kits and Source Projects group for my open source project mojoPortal?

Not sure if this is the correct place to make such a request, please let me know if there is a better method.

mojoPortal already has fairly active forums on the mojoPortal.com site but I think having a forum here would be helpful in exposing mojoPortal to new people.

    Thanks for any help,

     Joe Audette

Hi Joe, projects need to be on CodePlex to be considered for having their own forum here at the ASP.NET Forums, so we'll not be able to open a forum for mojoPortal.  Other requisites are: there must be a released version, and there must be an active following.

    Thanks for your response.

I would consider moving my project to CodePlex if/when it fully supports Subversion (svn) as I have developers working on Linux with MonoDevelop in addition to developers working with VS 2005/Tortoise svn on Windows.

However, your policy seems inconsistently applied given that DotNetNuke is hosted at sourceforge and Rainbow Portal was once on SourceForge but is now on google code.

mojoPortal has had released versions since 2004 and has an active following.

Please let me know if you will re-consider the Codeplex requirement and/or whether actually moving my project to Codeplex would enable us to have a forum for mojoPortal.

    Best Regards,

    Joe Audette

Forgot to mention, mojoPortal project is currently hosted at Novell Forge, release files can be obtained on this page. Anonymous checkout from Subversion is available at https://forgesvn1.novell.com/svn/mojoportal/trunk

    Thanks,

    Joe
