Hi,

I am facing this VS PROBLEM WHILE OPENING ANY WEBSITE IN VB.NET ENVIRONMENT MODE.

  THE ERROR MESSAGE IS..

An error was encountered while opening associated documents the last time this solution was loaded.Document load is being skipped during this solution load in order to avoid that error. 

 And while loading the webpage some files are correpted .it cancels the page for future use.like this ...

Give the solution as early as possible.

As the issue occurs for opening every Web Site, I think it’s the Visual Studio issue. I’m afraid that I have to recommend you to repair/reinstall Visual Studio. I understand you may feel disappointed that ….

Thnx for your advise but this problem i m facing atleast once in a week after reinstalling the visual studio also.

Its not possible to install everytime..

Can U Tell The Any Alternate Solution To Me.....................  

My System Configuration Is  

                        WINDOWS 2000 Professional

                            RAM  256MB

                              P IV 1.8GHZ

windows 2000 is not a good development environment for two reasons

Windows 2000 is a server operating system and for future point .Net framework 3.0 (although till orcas is released people are using server OS for this but not 2000) and upcoming 3.5 wont even run there.

256 MB Ram is way too low for development as Visual studio will be very slow.

So solution is change to XP or 2003(server OS), get atleast a gig RAM, processer is ok..but dual core is the way..

We have installed dot net nuke  4.7. We are working on asp.net 2.0, o/s windows xp. Until yesterday everything was working fine. Today we are getting the same error

"An error was encountered while opening associatd documents the last time this solution was loaded document load is being skipped during the solution load in order to avoid the error".

When we try to open a new or existing dot net nuke website we get the above error and when we click ok, The site does not open.

We donot know what actually is causing the problem? Thanks for any help.

It may help some other person. It was causing due to virus in the system. We formatted the system and again installed vs2005 in windows XP. Since then everything worked fine.
