just wanted to know how many of you have installed Beta 1 successfully on Vista.

i'm using Vista Ultimate and tiredly running in unexpected problems while installing Orcas Beta 1. i removed March CTP and all the components but the beta 1 setup is crashing indicating some components are already existing i am 100% sure i've removed all of them.

do share your experiences.

I am using Vista Business and encountered the problem that Rick Strahl mentions in his blog entry during my first install attempt: http://www.west-wind.com/weblog/posts/61070.aspx. After that I installed the .NET Framework 3.5 manually and then installed Orcas Beta 1 without any issues.
