Does someone have experience with Telerik or Componentone.
Because they both give some nice powerfull tools.
I found telerik when I needed a Editor, I'm now evaluating the demo and it's really great.
But now that I want to have a Ajax loadbar also, I searched again and came on Componentone also.
ComponentOne has a nice shedule tool that I can use later. And this telerik doesn't have.
And I'm not sure ComponentOne has the Editor (or is this the Ribbon bar).
So now I really don't know what do do, so I hope you guys can help me out!
It's lots of money, so I have to make the correct choice.
There have been some good discussions on these two products inside this forum. I suggest that you do a search of "Telerik". These two companies are direct competitors and therefore have tremendous similarities (because when one releases a new feature, the
other tends to follow.)
There are many more solutions than just those too. There are numerous editors, including free ones. You can also purchase modules from Telerik and ComponentOne, instead of their entire suite. This way, you can select the best tool of each category for your
own needs, not just the ones sold in a single suite.
Here are several sites that list the wide variety of solutions and many have customer reviews posted: this site's Control Gallery (under the Resources tab),
www.123aspx.com, and
www.411asp.net.
IMO, Telerik's radAJAX is the best commercial AJAX system I've used.
