  i have seen a article on how to write custom web service on sharepoint 2003

  I am but unable to find similar thing for 2007, can some one help me?

  The sample is valid for  2007  as well.  Check out Erika Ehrli's blog regarding v2 implementation, with notes from others on v3.

  Hello,

  if you have not find anything similar by now I can recommand the following link. Here you will find a custom webservice (included source) written for MOSS 2007. Maybe it´s helpful for you to write a webservice by yourself...
