  Limit repeater to show only first 5 records

  I know this is a basic question, but how do I limit the repeater to only show the first 5 records in my datareader?

  That woudn't normally be a responsibility of a Repeater.

  Why not just use SELECT TOP 5 in your SQL statement? If you only want to show 5 records better to only retireve 5 records.

  Or you can set a number count in datareader.read(). If the count reach 5, you do not bind the data from datareader to repeater anymore.
