Did you talk to Mark about it? They had a bum version of Plesk I think that they finally unrolled. I haven't had any problems since then and have a pretty busy web site there.
Thank you for your comments and feedback. We had a major blow out with our plesk control panel (which was a full release by SWsoft) and basically had to shut it down to protect the service. Our mail access has been affected by the control panel migration but
can be accessed via a temporary link here:
we talked to mark continuously, and had people working during the weekend to try and get our systems running again. I don't care whether the problem was Plesk... I do care that it took us offline
for almost 5 days (the first time we've been offline for any significant period during the last 9 years)

I'm a competitor of Ultima Host, but I should say 5 days of downtime in 9 years = 99.85% uptime. And it is great!!! You should stick to Ultima in this case.

That is a good call but we are not making any excuses. Our downtime was actually under 24 hours and we were able to implement our full recovery plan in this time. The site mentioned above was reconfigured again after the fifth day which caused a password challenge
to appear on the site. No excuses though and I would hereby like to make a public apology to all those who host and support Ultima Hosts. We care deeply about our customers and spend a lot of time understanding their needs. We now have a new control panel
(Dot Net Panel) and have already noticed a huge difference in performance. It wouldn't surprise me to see the makers of Plesk in court over a class action for releasing a production ready product that could basically ruin a hosting business.
Again we are not saying that we don't make mistakes. This proves we are human after all and have already learnt an amazing amount from this experience. We have also learnt the value of good back up software (Acronis), the importance of RAID 1 and the necessity
of having a dedicated data center team to fall back on (Liquid Web). All these were in place and worked beyond expectation.
We would also like to thank all those who have supported us through this experience. It makes us appreciate the networks that we have established within the industry and within the .Net Community.
You guys really need to put up a forum or something on your site so we don't have to use these forums to find out what's going on.
I have no clue as a customer as to what I'm supposed to be doing with this move from Plesk to the new CP. I can't get any of my email via Pop3 to work and the webmail seems to be flakey at best.

I'm getting ready to move from Ultima myself. Seriously, who rolls something out without fully testing it first in a QA environment?
I, nor any more my clients, can access Plesk or Webmail.
I can't manage anything for myself or my clients.
Anyone recommend any good hosters that have been around awhile?

Would be great to hear your comments once we get the Dot Net Control Panel running at 100%.
Thanks again.
