  I want to do exactly the opposite of this. The menu i am using has more than 1000 items in it. Whenever a user hovers on the menu it takes 3-4 seconds atleast for the flyout to display. Is there a way to make the javascript work fast? The same menu opened in Mozilla shows the flyouts in almost real time. So i think the javascript engine in IE has some issues. Any help or suggestion is greatly appreciated.

• ASP.Net Menu performance for large number of items

  Hi All, I am using ASP.net menu as a replacement to the top navigation bar in a MOSS site. This menu contains almost 1500 items (most of them as flyouts). When the items were less (around 100) the menu was working absolutely fine but with large items it is just too slow. When someone hovers mouse on the menu items the flyout menu items takes anywhere between 3-5 seconds to display which is not acceptable. Please suggest some solution or any alternative to the menu control.
