  I found the answer. I was reading tutorials, not watching videos... For anyone else who is wanting to know the same thing, watch the AJAX Toolkit Video #27. It is not obvious, but if you watch the whole video, you can pick up on how to do it.

• AnimationExtender FadeIn Position Attached to Control?

  I am new to the AJAX and JS world. Trying to learn though. I am using the Animation Extender to display a Panel. I have it figured out with FadeIn, Move, Resize, etc. but want it to appear over the top of existing page information. Absolute positioning will to it, but I would like the FadeIn and Resize to start from a dynamic point. That point will be the Label or button that is clicked on the page. So I need to get the top and left coord. of the control that triggered the box and use those coord
