  Hi JJ, well, I disabled the IPv6 in my vista (there is no way to uninstall IPv6 in vista, i can only disable it) and then i changed the Hosts file from ::1 to 172.0.0.1, I now cant see any localhost websites and the original problem is not solved (I restarted my computer after i changed the hosts file)... any other ideas ? I'm stuck... :-)

  Hi All... no, i cant open the site by typing localhost, and when i tryed to browse the site with Firefox it gave me the same problem... still stuck... any other ideas ?

• Problem with running asp.net web site in visual studio 2008

  Hi All... I just installed visual studio 2008 and I'm having a problem, when i try to run a web site (very simple one - the default empty web site) I'm getting an error in IE, that the page cannt be shown. I have IIS 7 installed but i know that the VS runs with the Development Server, which runs with a different port number each time. I read that i should bypass the Proxy server for local web requests, so i did it and it did not help. I'm stuck... and need help... ;-) 10x, Isaac
