Problem chaing datasource for gridview
Hi I'm not really good at programming thus I need some guidance from you experts. I'm using Visual Studio 2005, asp.net, C#. I want to change the data on the Gridview to another datasource so that I can view, edit and sort too. It started out as < asp : AccessDataSource ID ="AccessDataSource1" runat ="server" DataFile ="~/App_Data/Chances.mdb" SelectCommand ="SELECT * FROM [SalesMaster]" UpdateCommand ="UPDATE Customers SET cCoName =, cUserName

Re: Problem chaing datasource for gridview
Thank you for the help. I want to change the datasource from AccessDatasource1 to Accessdatasource2. I tried the DataBind() method but it return an error like this Both DataSource and DataSourceID are defined on 'GridView1'. Remove one definition If I use GridView1.DataSourceID = AccessDataSource2.ToString; It shows The DataSourceID of 'GridView1' must be the ID of a control of type IDataSource. A control with ID 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.AccessDataSource' could not be found
